TASK AND ACTIVITY DIRECTION

OF THE CENTER IN THE PERIOD 1999-2005

1. Main content of activity of the Center in this period

- Determining the notion "buddhist intellect" and clearly bring out the meaning of "buddhist intellect" which is available in each person.

- Establishing methodology aiming to help each person to affirm "buddhist intellect" which has its fine special values in the traditional culture of the nation and the to mental life of each person.

Carrying out researchs and searching in order to establishing, applying and popularizing methods of "buddhist intellect" in the practice of life, by this to contribute to the construction of the country deeds in line with the target "rich people - powerful country - a more just and civilizing society "as having suggestest by the Communist party of Vietnam and the State.

2. Duties of the Center for year 1999

2.1. Perfecting the machine and personnel of the Center as determining the Regulations of the Center.

2.2. Establishing cooperating relations with Researching Institutes, Orgars which dedicate to study Buddhist studies and Easterm phylosophy, gradually taking shape the body of competent consultants, cooperators in researches, by this Center gradually perfect is machine to carry out subjets of buddist researchs.

3. The dudies for the Period 1999-2005

3.1. Studying and applying works;

Buy studying and applying works, works, the Center gradually take shape researche methodology and application of Buddhist studies.

Carrying out scientist activities such as: workshops, meetings dedicated to classical matters of buddhist studies, with the comparision with pratical matters by investigating of sociology, since then to revise achievements of studies of the Center.

Establishing methodology of application and popularizing in the community: publishing books, libraries, bulletins.

3.2. Organizing of activities to raise funds for researches an application by propagating of financial sponsor

and projects.

3.3. Widening diverse international cooperative activities in researching and applying Buddhist study domains.

3.4. Participarting and contributing in all permanent and temporaty activities of VFUC.
